Job Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cigli, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the company. You will oversee financial planning, manage financial risks, and ensure the integrity of fiscal operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, proven experience in a startup environment, and a passion for sustainability and cleantech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support Cigli's growth and sustainability goals.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.

2. Financial Management:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial performance.

3. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks to the company.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

4. Investor Relations:

• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial information to the board of directors and investors.
• Lead fundraising efforts, including equity and debt financing.

5. Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

6. Sustainability and Cleantech Initiatives:

• Align financial strategies with Cigli's mission of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
• Evaluate and manage the financial aspects of cleantech projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance and sustainable growth.
  

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in a startup or high-growth environment, preferably in the cleantech or sustainability sector.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Passion for sustainability, cleantech, and environmental responsibility.
